After earning a civil engineering degree at the University of the Pacific in 1985, Shawn Fitzpatrick, began his career working as an estimator and project manager for contractors specializing in residential and commercial construction. In 1992, he joined the Kitchell Corporation as an estimator working on new prisons throughout California, which led to his construction supervisory position with the State of California Department of Corrections Inmate Day Labor Program. This program had an annual budget of approximately $150 million and was responsible for the construction projects within existing state prisons. Shawn joined UC Construction in 1999 as a senior project manager. His strong background in research, combined with the practical application of engineering and construction skills, makes him ideally suited for the complex world of construction management and development. Shawn’s involvement has led to the construction of luxury condominiums, retail buildings, Rite Aid stores, high-density residential buildings, office complexes and single-family communities. His guidance and foresight have helped the UC Construction team maintain the highest standards of quality, flexibility and service.

Bobbi Anguiano joined the UC Construction team after serving ten years as controller at Golden State Utility Company, a promotion she earned within just seven years of beginning her accounting and financial career as a job cost accountant. Her expertise in auditing, accounting, forecasting and internal controls makes her an invaluable asset to the company. Bobbi is a quick learner, detail oriented and remarkably consistent. She earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock.

Terry Laurence joined the UC Construction team in 2005, and his background in commercial and residential building has since been a strong asset to the company. His decades of commercial management experience include GPS Pool Supply, Good Guys and Modesto’s NorthPointe shopping center, which comprises Costco, Aaron Brothers, Cost Plus World Market, Pier One Imports, Baja Fresh, Starbucks Coffee, Supercuts and Cold Stone Creamery. Terry’s esteem within the industry stems from his ability to anticipate problems in the planning stages of a project and minimize costly scheduling delays and budget increases.
